Tick borne encephalitis (TBE) is established in southern and southwestern Finland, including the Aland islands, the Helsinki region archipelago and along the Baltic coast. The vaccine is recommended for travellers spending time outdoors in these areas from spring through autumn. Lapland and the far north are very low risk for TBE. Tetanus, diphtheria and polio boosters are sensible if overdue.
