Every appointment starts with a short pharmacist-led review of your itinerary, medical history and current medication. If the vaccine is right for you we give one Nimenrix or Menveo injection in-clinic, at 59 Mill Lane, one minute from West Hampstead station.
A signed and stamped ACWY certificate is issued in the appointment. Saudi Arabia requires it for Hajj and Umrah visas, dated at least 10 days and not more than 5 years before entry.
Side effects and contraindications
A sore arm and mild headache for a day are the usual effects.
Not given to anyone with a confirmed severe allergy to a previous dose. Postpone if you have a fever. Nimenrix is licensed from 6 weeks old. School and university-age children commonly receive MenACWY at Aqua.
