NaTHNaC recommends Hepatitis A, Tetanus and Typhoid for most travellers to Brunei, with Hepatitis B, Japanese encephalitis, Rabies and Tuberculosis recommended for some travellers depending on itinerary. A Polio certificate can be required for stays over four weeks in a polio-transmission area.

Hepatitis B

Three-dose course (0, 1, 6 months) recommended for longer stays, medical or dental procedures, tattoos, piercings and new sexual partners abroad. An accelerated schedule is available for shorter lead times.
Tuberculosis (BCG)
Considered for long-stay work in healthcare, community immersion and family travel with young children in higher-risk regions of Brunei. Reviewed at consultation.
