Singapore is one of the safest long haul destinations from the UK, with excellent infrastructure, clean water and world class healthcare. NaTHNaC classifies it as low risk for most travellers, but Hepatitis A is still recommended given the city's status as a major regional food hub, and Hepatitis B is worth considering for longer stays or anyone planning medical or dental work abroad.
Tetanus, diphtheria and polio boosters should be up to date for any international trip. Yellow Fever is not required unless you are arriving from a YF risk country (in which case a certificate is mandatory).
Aqua Travel Clinic in West Hampstead is a NaTHNaC designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, run by Aqua Pharmacy (GPhC registered premises 1123406, owned by Naspram Pharma Limited) under Superintendent Pharmacist Sanjay Mukundkumar Patel (GPhC 2045157). We can usually fit you in same week, review your itinerary, and complete any Singapore vaccines in a single short appointment.

Travel vaccines for Singapore, at a glance
Singapore is a low risk destination with excellent infrastructure. NaTHNaC recommends Hepatitis A for most travellers, with Hepatitis B for longer stays or healthcare exposure. Tetanus boosters should be up to date. Yellow Fever certificate is only required if you are arriving from a YF risk country.
Tetanus, diphtheria and polio
A 10 yearly booster is recommended for any international travel. The Revaxis vaccine covers all three in a single injection and gives full protection within two weeks.
Hepatitis A
Standard NaTHNaC recommendation for Singapore. Singapore is a major regional food hub with travellers eating widely; Hepatitis A transmission through contaminated food and water still occurs. A single dose protects for around 12 months, or 25 years with a booster.
Hepatitis B
Recommended for stays over a month, healthcare workers, or anyone considering tattoos, piercings, medical or dental procedures abroad. A three dose course (days 0, 7, 21 or 28) gives long term protection.
Dengue and mosquito advice
Dengue is present year round in Singapore with periodic outbreaks. There is no routine vaccine for first time UK travellers; the pharmacist will discuss bite avoidance, repellents and what to do if you develop fever after returning.
