Do I need malaria tablets for Senegal?

Yes. Malaria is present year round across the whole of Senegal including Dakar. The pharmacist will prescribe atovaquone proguanil, doxycycline or mefloquine based on your itinerary.

What about Meningitis ACWY?

Strongly recommended for travel into the Sahel during the dry season (December to June), particularly Niokolo Koba and northern Senegal. One dose protects for around 5 years.
