Travel vaccines for Willesden Green families
Willesden Green spans NW10 and NW2, one of the most diverse parts of North West London, with substantial Caribbean, Irish, Bangladeshi, Somali and Eastern European communities, and a younger creative population drawn by the High Road and Queen's Park borders. Travel from Willesden Green reflects that mix: regular visiting family and relatives trips to Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Guyana, frequent Bangladesh and Pakistan travel often spanning four or six weeks, Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, and increasing weekend travel across Europe.\n\nGetting to Aqua Travel Clinic is genuinely quick. The Jubilee Line from Willesden Green runs two stops east to West Hampstead in five minutes, and we are a four minute walk from the station exit. The 328 bus runs along Kilburn High Road and the C11 connects through Cricklewood and Hampstead. By car the A5 and Shoot Up Hill route takes 10 to 12 minutes outside peak times. We hold same-week appointments and Saturday slots so VFR trips, Hajj packages and pre-flight reviews fit around shift work and family schedules.

Travel vaccines for Willesden Green residents
Willesden Green sits in NW10 and NW2 along the Jubilee Line, one of the most diverse residential areas in North West London. The catchment includes long-established Caribbean and Irish communities around Willesden High Road, a sizeable Bangladeshi and South Asian population, growing Somali and Polish households, and a younger creative population on the borders with Queen's Park and Kensal Rise. The travel patterns we see reflect that diversity: regular VFR trips to Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Guyana, longer family visits to Bangladesh and Pakistan, Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages each year, and steady European city travel.
Reaching Aqua Travel Clinic is fast. The Jubilee Line from Willesden Green station runs two stops east to West Hampstead in around five minutes, and we are a four minute walk from the station exit. The 328 bus along Kilburn High Road and the C11 across Cricklewood and Hampstead are good alternatives. By car the A5 and Shoot Up Hill route takes 10 to 12 minutes off peak, with paid parking on Mill Lane.
Hajj and Umrah
We see significant Hajj and Umrah travel from the Willesden and wider Brent catchment. Saudi Arabia requires a single dose of MenACWY ACWY-135 vaccine for all visa applicants aged two and over, given at least ten days before arrival and within the three year validity window. We issue the official certificate the same day and review polio and routine vaccine status, particularly for pilgrims who have not had a tetanus booster in over ten years. Detailed advice on heat acclimatisation, crowd safety and respiratory infection risk is part of every consultation.
Caribbean travel
VFR travel to Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Guyana is a steady part of our Willesden Green appointments. Most travellers benefit from hepatitis A, typhoid for inland and rural areas, and a tetanus, diphtheria and polio booster if more than ten years old. For Guyana and travellers transiting through yellow fever risk countries we cover yellow fever as a designated centre, issuing certificates on the day.
Bangladesh, Pakistan and South Asia
Family trips to Bangladesh and Pakistan are typically four to six weeks, often including rural visits and onward travel by road. We schedule South Asia vaccines together: hepatitis A, typhoid, tetanus booster, and selective rabies for longer rural stays or travel with young children. Malaria prophylaxis is offered for relevant regions and seasons, with simple bite-avoidance advice.
Booking and timing
For Hajj we recommend booking as early as your visa process allows, ideally six to eight weeks before travel, so any other required vaccines can be completed alongside MenACWY. For VFR trips four to six weeks is comfortable, but last-minute travellers can still be protected within a single visit. Book your appointment online and pick a same-week or Saturday slot.
